Programme Aims
The Master of Project Management (MPM) programme aims to prepare graduates who are able to enhance their knowledge through multidisciplinary field and equipped with project management skills that are essential for the implementation of projects. This include utilising knowledge and skills, effective in collaborating and /or innovating in efforts to address social, technical and business challenges and engage in life-long learning and professional development. Learners are required to complete 45 credits in full time or part time mode of study.
Programme Objective
To utilize knowledge and skills in project management to upgrade career and livelihoods through a success career in project management.
To become effective in collaborating and/or innovating in efforts to address social, technical and project management challenges.
To engage in lifelong learning and professional development through self-study, continuing education or professional studies in project management field.
Entry Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the University Senate; OR 2. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the University Senate, subject to an internal assessment; OR 3. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the University Senate and with a minimum of 1 year working experience in the relevant fields, subject to an internal assessment; OR 4. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the University Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses*; OR 5. Other equivalent/relevant qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government. |
