Programme Aims
The Master of Project Management (MPM) programme aims to prepare graduates who are able to enhance their knowledge through multidisciplinary field and equipped with project management skills that are essential for the implementation of projects. This include utilising knowledge and skills, effective in collaborating and /or innovating in efforts to address social, technical and business challenges and engage in life-long learning and professional development. Learners are required to complete 45 credits in full time or part time mode of study.
Programme Objective
To utilize knowledge and skills in project management to upgrade career and livelihoods through a success career in project management.
To become effective in collaborating and/or innovating in efforts to address social, technical and project management challenges.
To engage in lifelong learning and professional development through self-study, continuing education or professional studies in project management field.
Entry Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree (level 6, MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualifications as accepted by the University Senate; or
A Bachelor’s degree (level 6, MQF) with CGPA below 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualifications as accepted by the University Senate, subject to a minimum of five (5) years of working experiences in relevant fields; or
For entry requirement through APEL, applicants must be/have:
i. a Malaysian citizen; and
ii. at least 30 years of age in the year of application; and
iii. at least STPM/Diploma/equivalent qualifications, and
iv. relevant work experience (subject to appropriate APEL assessment conducted by MQA).
Fulfil English Language Requirements for International Students ONLY:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0; OR
A medium of instruction letter from the awarding institution confirming that English was the language of instruction in your previous school
